They say the last flame
will ignite
in the ocean.
In the belly of the whale
that houses the forgotten myths,
in its song,
conjuring the return of the gods.
But I stored away
some matches
to safeguard the flames
of the earth.
They say the last flame
will ignite
in the ocean.
In the belly of the whale
that houses the forgotten myths,
in its song,
conjuring the return of the gods.
But I stored away
some matches
to safeguard the flames
of the earth.
Mr. Baker, have you stopped providing the names and dates of your poets in the daily emails?

No, the name and dates should be right below the author’s picture as always. The emails are auto-generated so I’m not sure what they look like. But, on the blog page, the format should always feature the author’s picture right below the title, followed by their name, nationality, and dates.

Thank you, Sir.
The e mails have been arriving as usual lately, except Without name, date or nationality under the photo.
I have found the info only by hitting the comment button, which I do not mind, but your reply suggested that you may not know about this change. I will try to find out when it first began. As I said , I don’t mind, as long as I can work around it.
Thank you for your prompt reply.

How odd. I freely admit I don’t know why the change was made but I certainly appreciate your letting me know (and I appreciate your not giving up and going ahead with clicking on the poem for the info). Thank you so much for your readership!
